When it comes to face scrub, I really like soft and mild
beads which gently exfoliate the skin. Exfoliating
is a must for all skin type because it removes the dead cells and makes the
skin more breathable by deeply cleanse the pores. It also helps to improve
blood circulation. So today I am going review a face scrub which I have
recently got from nykaa as a free gift-Plum Grape seed and sea buckthorn mild
foam scrub.

How to use: “Wash hands, splash water on face. Take coin
sized amount of foaming scrub and gently lather up in small circles (upward-
outward) over face. Don’t forget your neck. Be gentle around your eyes. Rinse,
pat dry and follow up with toner.”

comes in a regular plastic tube with flip open cap, nothing fancy which further
comes in a cardboard box. All the detail information is written in both tube
and the cardboard box. The cap shuts with satisfying click sound which makes
easy to carry around.

Smell: I enjoy it’s
refreshing floral smell very much. It not that strong to irritate the sense,
but not too mild either.

Texture and formula:
it is a gel based scrub; I would rather say face wash because it hardly has any
scrubbing beads. The colorless gel has the right consistency, neither too
thick nor too runny. A coin sized amount is needed for one time wash. It forms
good lather and rinse off easily without leaving any greasy residue. Formula is
quite nourishing, doesn’t dry out the skin after wash. It has enriched with the
grape seed and sea buckthorn oils which are known for their antioxidant properties.

I use it every day after cleansing with Plum hello aloe cleansing lotion. I apply it on my wet face and neck then massage it in
circular motion, rinse off the lather with normal water. It instantly gives
smoothness to my skin and radiant glow as well. My skin feels soft and deeply
cleansed without over-drying. The grape seed and sea buckthorn help to
maintain the right pH balance and moisture of the skin.

Final verdict: I really like the concept of exfoliating face
wash which can be used regularly. It make the skin look radiant and glowing
without takes away natural moisture. If you want a face wash with natural soft cellulose
beads to exfoliate, do give it try.
