Summer is the time when we love to wear colorful peppy
nails. As you guys know I am very much into matte these days…hehe😃 so my love
for peppy pastel color with matte finish leads me to buy these Nykaa matte nail
polishes. They have launched 12 shades in this range. Actually I wanted to have
all 12 shades but then came along my poor pocket which did not allow it at all😥 . So I ended up owning
6 of them and today I will be sharing the review on these Nykaa Matte Nail
Lacquers with you all. So let’s get down to begin.

Nykaa Matte Nail Lacquers in Pink Meringue,Black Sesame Pudding,Strawberry Shortcake,Blueberry Compote,Lavender Panna Cotta and Squid Ink Mousse

INR: 199/- for 9ml.

Self- life: 2 years.

My review on Nykaa Matte Nail Lacquers:

Packaging: Nykaa matte nail lacquers come in a frosted
finish glass bottle with long matte black holder cap which make them look so
classy. A nice and flat brush attached inside by which one can easily coat nails
in least number of swipes. The brand name nykaa is embossed in the front, shade
name and number is stick at one side and at the top.

Shades:

Pink Meringue

28 Pink Meringue : A soft pestle pink with peach hue, such
unique and feminine shade.

Black Sesame Pudding

9 Black Sesame
Pudding: A true black matte Shade.

Strawberry Shortcake

139 Strawberry Shortcake: An alluring candy pink shade which
is very pretty, girly and summery.

Blueberry Compote

119 Blueberry Compote: A perfect mid night blue hue for me.

Lavender Panna Cotta

15 Lavender Panna Cotta: As the name suggest its a light
pestle lavender shade.

Squid Ink Mousse

14 Squid Ink Mousse: Very offbeat shade as the name
suggests. This shade has a definite gray hue. It is perfect for those who are
shy to carry bold black nails.

Texture and finish: These nail polishes have smooth gel like
texture which swipe easily and cover nails evenly. Much opaque, you need 2
swipes to get the desire result. Quick drying formula. But they didn’t deliver 100%
matte finish rather than soft gel matte finish.

Staying Power: Every nail polish has decent staying power,
stay put for 3-4 days without fading, chipping and peeling off.

Pros:

Offbeat and wearable shades.
Affordable.
Dry down to gel matte finish.
Dry in few seconds or so.
Full opaque in two swipes.
Smooth flat applicator.
Classy and sturdy glass packaging.
Decent staying capacity.

Cons:

Non availability in the local market.
Do not give full matte finish.

Rating: 4/5.

Final verdict: Make a long story short Nykaa Matte nail
Lacquers are the most affordable matte nail paints with unique and wearable
shades currently available in the Indian market. No need to say I’m very much
in love with these nails paints. Highly recommended to those who want to wear
unique, feminine matte nails this summer.
