Nykaa So Matte Fall Winter collection lipstick in Irish Coffee : Review and Swatch

Nykaa has
launched their own line of cosmetics which have nail polishes, Matte lipsticks
and very recently eye product. I am a very big fan of their nail enamels so, as
soon as I heard that they also  have launched their own line of matte
lipsticks I rush to buy one. As you guys already know that I am quite obsessed
with nude shades and collect every possible IMBB shades available in the market. I bought two
shades “Naughty Nude” and “Taupe Thrill” from Nykaa so matte lipstick
range before ( you can read full review here). Recently they have launched again
a whole new range of matte lipsticks called ”Fall winter collection” which has deep
dark color in every possible shades to choose from. I have chosen the lightest
shade named “Irish coffee”among the range. So let’s start with the review of
Nykaa so matte Fall winter collection lipsticks in  Iris Coffee.

My Review on Nykaa so matte  Fall Winter collection lipstick in Irish Coffee:

Packaging: when it comes to packaging
Nykaa introduce a very luxy thing which blows your mind for
sure. It comes in a matte black plastic case on which the Brand name Nykaa has
written with silvery metallic color which I think looks super classy. The black
case further housed in a very elegant looking pinky cardboard box which carries
all the relevant information. The best part of the packaging is that how the
cap shuts! The cap has magnet in it, so it has a magnetic closure like some
luxy high-end brand lipsticks. This all make the lipstick looking very elegant,
classy and travel friendly as well.

Shade: It a
perfect warm nude for deeper skin tone,a lovely medium brown with a hint
of peach. In one word it is a perfect “Kylie Jenner” kind of shade.
Pigmentation: Rich
in color, intensely pigmented, goes full opaque in only one swipe. It can cover
up my pigmented lips totally right from the first swipe and the coverage is
quite build-able as well.

Texture and
 Though it is called matte lipstick, it is not at all flat matte;
it has very nice and creamy texture which glides evenly without tugging and
pulling. Thank god it has no shimmer or sheen in it. After some time it sits
down into matte finish but not powdery matte, has the smoothness intact throughout.
So doesn’t settle into lip lines or accentuate dry patches. Formula is very
much soft like butter, so it keeps moisturizing lips for long. I think the
formula is so creamy and buttery that no one needs to apply lip balm before
putting it on.

power and color payoff:
As the lipstick is on the creamy
side so it does transfer or move but stays on me for good 5+ hours with little
snacks and drink in between. The color doesn’t survive oily food. After
completely fading away the pigment left a beautiful stain on the lips.

  • Pocket friendly.
  • Luxurious packaging.
  • Soft and creamy texture with matte finish.
  • Buttery soft formula glides evenly on lips.
  • Comfortable to wear.
  • Extremely pigmented.
  • Fully opaque in single swipe.
  • Lasting upto 5+ hours.
  • Left behind a nice stain.
  • Doesn’t sets down into lip crease or lines.

  • Does
    transfer and move.
  • Available
    online only.

Rating: 4.5/5.

Final verdict: Though it
is from fall collection , But the shade is quite
wearable during spring and summer. I am ready to die for its color- such pretty
nude that has right balance in brown and  peachiness. And the packaging is so luxy and
trendy in such a price tag that definitely worth a try. I think this is perhaps
most comfortable, pigmented and affordable matte lipstick available in Indian
market. So I would recommend specially this shade to every girl who wants to
have a versatile hue to work as well as to party.
