The Face Shop White Seed Brightening Toner Review

The Face Shop White Seed Brightening Toner Review

Hello Everyone,

I have been loving Kbeauty products little lately. The Face Shop White Seed Brightening toner is the latest addition to my vanity. A few days back, Nykaa ran some special offers on their skincare range. I bought few things at that time, so got this toner as a free gift from Nykaa. (which was a win-win situation for me!) Toner is an integral part of our skincare routine. Because it removes last traces of dirt and grime even after cleansing with face wash and also helps in shirking down the skin pores. So we shouldn’t skip using toner anyway. If you’re a regular reader of my blog, then you would know me very well, that I always opt for something that more natural and harmful chemical free. Kbeauty products are famous worldwide for their efficiency and being organic and harsh chemicals free. I have been using it since I got it and love it the moon and back. So today, I am going share my experience with this toner. Please read on.

INR: 1690/- for 145ml

Where to buy: You can buy here.

Packaging:

Neat and sturdy. The toner comes in a tall opaque white plastic bottle. It has a pump dispenser fitted at the top which is covered by a small plastic cap. The bottle is housed inside a thin cardboard box which carries all the information related to the product like the ingredients, price and usage direction.

My View

At the very first glance, the toner seems more like a facial serum. It is a milky white solution with a mild fresh smell. The fragrance doesn’t irritate your nostril. It has runny consistency and also gets deep into the skin quickly. It doesn’t contain any form of alcohol and paraben. Hence it would suit the sensitive skin well. This toner contains some amazing skin hydrating ingredients like propenedrol which helps in retaining the balance of moisture in your skin and keeps your skin hydrated instead of leaving dry like most of the toners.

After washing my face with an organic and chemical free face wash, I took ample amount of toner onto a cotton pad and gently wipe my face with it. It leaves my face soft, fresh and moisturized. It also takes away last traces of makeup, dirt, and impurities from my already cleaned face. I really like the fact that it doesn’t dry out my skin and leaves it comfortable and sooth.

Now, coming down to its effect, I’m too impressed with that. It imparts a soft glow on my skin just after the application. After about a week of continuous use, my face appeared little brighter and even toned. After 2-3 weeks, I have noticed overall enhancement of my skin complexion.

I would say that this toner is perfect for dry and normal skin beauties. Though it didn’t create any issues on my oily and sensitive skin. It will be great to use as an anti-aging toner for its moisturizing and brightening effects.

Honestly, I feel that the price point is a bit turn off. But trust me, I will get what you pay for!

My Rating: 4.5/5.

Final Verdict: Overall, the toner keeps its promise. It does what it claims. The best part of the toner is its alcohol-free nature. However, the price is too expensive in terms of a brightening toner. I’m too impressed with this toner and would like to recommend it to someone with dry skin or aging skin.

  3. Nice review. I used to think toners were only for oily skin. now i realise that this toner is specifically for dry skin and it is something which needs to be added to my regime. I do feel price is daunting, as is trying a new brand or a new type of product even, which is why i prefer to rely on reviews from people I follow, like you, before deciding on even trying any product.
