Vya Naturals Activated Charcoal and Cedarwood Soap Review

Summer is in full swing. So our body tends to sweat more and accumulate dirt and grime throughout the day. Hence we have to have a good cleanser which can deeply cleanse all the gunk out of our skin. Activated charcoal is known for deep cleaning. I have been using charcoal face wash and face mask for my oily prone skin and I love the effect it leaves on my skin. So I was looking for a charcoal based cleanser to clean my body too. And I finally got one activated charcoal soap from the brand VYA Naturals. The brand is kind enough to send me two of their products to try out. So today I am going to review their Activated Charcoal and Cedarwood soap.

My View

This activated charcoal and cederwood soap is a charcoal black in color. When I first sniffed it, it smelt like cederwood. The fragrance is very mild and refreshing. I don’t think it would hurt your sensitive nose or give you any sort of a headache.

My face has oily to combination skin, whereas the skin on the rest of the body is normal to dry. But in summer it acts a little oily than the normal. Because of the excessive sweat, it accumulates pollution and dirt throughout the day which I feel, needs to be cleaned at the end of the day to let the skin of our body breath. I have been using this soap for a week now. It lathers up pretty well. It cleanses my skin deeply without drying out it. I really love how my skin feels squeaky clean after use and I’m too happy that it doesn’t irritate my skin and also leaves the skin well hydrated.

Final Verdict: Overall, this is a 100% natural and handmade soap to try out. It cleans very well and also leaves behind a refreshing mild fragrance after a bath.
