If you are a regular follower of my blog, then probably know that I am a hoarder of natural and organic products. Because using harsh chemicals on a regular basis can affect us in long-term. I have been using natural, organic-based product for me and my baby. I have been using a new organic brand “Life & Pursuits” lately. “Life & Pursuits” is in a mission to spread health, happiness and harmony in the world. They offer Certified Organic and Natural child and family care products based on the proven wellness science of Ayurveda. They use only the safest and purest ingredients from the Himalayas and the tropical forests of India for their products which are certified by USDA and NATRUE. As a company, they are kind enough to send me their products to try out. So, Today I’m going to talk about their Soak-In Godness Moisturizing Lotion and Bounce Back & Shine Hair Oil.

Packaging :
The lotion comes in an opaque white plastic tube with flip-flop cap. Every single details like ingredients, expiry, usage direction are mentioned on the back of the tube. The packaging is spill proof and handy.
My View
The off-white lotion is runny in consistency and ultra light in texture. It gets absorbed into the skin in a wink. This lotion has very mild and soothing fragrance which vanishes upon massaging. This light-based moisturizer formulated with some awesome and hydrating ingredients like Aleo Vera, Mulethi, Manjisgtha, Kesar, Sunflower oil and other essential oils. This lotion is meant for use on face as well as body. Though I have been using it only on my body ( as I was a bit skeptical about using a body lotion on my face). I found the formula is truly hydrating yet non-greasy. It does its job of moisturizing skin pretty well. I must say it’s a good and light-based moisturizer for using summer time.

My view
The oil is again based on Ayurveda. It made of extra virgin, cold pressed, pure organic oils like sesame and coconut. Besides, it contains the goodness of Brahmi, Bhirngaraj, Neem, Amla and Methi which revitalize hair and treat scalp issues. It has moderate consistency and texture, not so lightweight but not that thick and heavy like any other ayurvedic hair oil either. It has a natural smell of coconut and sesame oil which lingers for a while. I applied this oil 2 hours prior to shampoo. It doesn’t take much effort to go away completely while shampooing. It makes my hair feel good, bouncy and nourished after every usage.

Final Verdict: I really appreciate the efforts of the brand for making this planet toxin-free and using no chemical in making their products. I am very happy to use their products. They offer baby care range too. As a mother, I also looking forward to trying out their Ayurvedic, organic baby care range too.

Ha ha ha I am also like you, I test the beauty products on the body before testing it on the face.
The moisturizing lotion sounds a little expensive but I am loving the ingredient mix it has.
The moisturizer and oil seem best and hydrating. Love the simple and authentic packaging. I would also love to try their baby care range for my daughter.
