Holidays are coming. Now we will start planning and schedule our next trip. I don’t know about you guys, but I have started making plans. And to schedule a travel the first step is to book tickets. To be honest, our struggles start here. Booking trains or flights is the crucial part which needs proper planning or scheduling.  Most of us face hassles with railway reservations, especially for long distances. You need to stand in queues for hours for getting train reservation. Even people start making queues 12-14 hours before opening the ticket counter. They have now introduced Paytm travel.  Now using Paytm, one can book train e-tickets online from the comfort of your home, office or wherever you are within a few minutes. I will now take you through the process of booking train tickets with Paytm

Step 1

Visit paytm.com/train-tickets.

 Step 2

Select Date and City of the journey, then click on Search button.

 Step 3

Select your train and check seat availability

 Step 4

Choose seat class and date that suits you the best

 Step 5

Now click on “Book” button and enter your IRCTC login ID (If you do not have a login Id then select “Sign-up with IRCTC” option or reset it by clicking on “Forgot IRCTC Password” button).

 Step 6

Fill the required details and click “Book” button.

Step 7

Now proceed for payment, you can choose the method of your preference i.e. Debit/Credit Card, Net banking or Paytm Wallet. All payments are secure and protected.

 Step 8

Now you will be re-directed to IRCTC website to enter the user ID & password confirm. You are done.

You will receive a notification of booking through an email or SMS on your registered number. So you don’t need to carry a softcopy while traveling. In case of failed booking, the amount will be refunded in your paytm account within 15 minutes. In case of cancellation, the amount will be credited back to your bank account within 7-10 days.
