How can we reuse expired makeup in a creative way

Hello Everyone!
Everything comes with an expiry date, so do our makeup products. Yes, every makeup products come with a shelf- life whichever brand we use, makes no odds. Using expired products can invite several skin infections as they accrue germs and bacteria over time.

So that doesn’t mean, you have to throw those beauties away. You can reuse them anyway by following few tips. In today’s post, I will be talking about some hacks that will completely change your life.

1. Foundation-

I would highly suggest you not to use an expired foundation on your face. It can cause you serval skin problems. Most of the people do not use foundation on regular basis. I love to use BB or CC cream on an everyday basis as they look natural and come with some additional beauty benefits. If we have a good foundation, we can make a BB cream out of it. So there is no need to buy BB creams separately, your foundation does the work wonderfully.

To Make your BB cream, you need to have-
i. Foundation
ii. Aloe vera gel
iii. Sunscreen
iv. Compact
Mix all of these together and store in a clean container. Aloe vera gel works as a primer which keeps the BB cream in place for few hours. Compact keeps the shine away and gives you a fresh look.

2. Mascara-

This hack is one of my favorite. Generally, a mascara has 6 six months self-life. So after that, you can use the expired mascara to tame down those baby hairs or flyaways. If you have grey hairs like me, then the next hack will work like a charm. Just take your expired mascara and coat that popping greys in a jiffy. You can also use the spoolie to comb abd set your eyebrows in place.

3. Kajal/Gel Liners-

Dried Kohl or gel liner? Don’t worry. Just hold your pencil Kajal or Kohl for 5 seconds on fire and voila! Your kajal terns into gel liner. Trust me you will get a smooth and pigmented line with just one stroke. More, the fire makes it germs free. So you can use it with no worries.
For your gel liner, you need to put the container in hot water for 10 minutes. It will work as good as new.

4. Eyeshadow-

Eyeshadows are so versatile that you can reuse them in many ways. You can mix them with clear nail polish and make you customize glitter nail paints. You can use them as hair highlighter. Or you can use them as color pigment for designs and crafts.

5. Lipsticks-

My favorite makeup product of all. It is really heart-breaking for me to toss my favorite lippies in the dustbin. You can make those expired lippies reusable by heating them so that it can kill germs and bacteria. And then pour that melted lipsticks in a clean and dry container or palette to set. Your favorite Lippe becomes as good as before.

6. Toner-
