Barfi (2012)
A Comedy-drama film written and directed by Anurag Basu was a huge success of the year 2012. The story started with hearing and speech impaired boy Murphy (Barfi) Johnson (Barfi) who fell in love with Shruti. But due to the social and parental pressure, she married a “normal” man to lead a normal life. Later on, Barfi met his childhood autistic friend Jhilmil and they both fall in love with each other. They decided to get married and lead a normal life. The movie Barfi made us realize that Love is not defined by Normality or Abnormality.
