Hello Everyone,
If you have been following my blog, then you would know that I have premature hair greying and hence have color treated hair. So basically, my hair is dry, rough and dull if not treated right. Like any other woman, I also faced postpartum hair fall. During that period, I suffered from tremendous hair fall which led me to believe that I will soon be bald. Therefore, I started looking for products that could change this scenario to some extent. The search is still on, but I have come across a few amazing hair care products which I am loving quite lately. Today I’m going to talk about one of such products.
The product was introduced to me by my mom, as she has been using it for years and has faith in it. She was telling me from the very first day to use it, but somehow, I was unsure about the product and didn’t bother to try it myself. But after seeing my hair fall, mom bought me Kesh King Oil and shampoo products and this time I have to try them.
I have been using the products religiously for a month and have already decided to stick to these. That product is Kesh King Hair Oil. So today our products on focus are Kesh King hair Oil and Kesh King Shampoo.

My Experience
Kesh king hair is formulated with tel pak vidhi. Tel pak vidhi is basically an Ayurvedic ritual in which 21 precious herb like Shikakai, Nagakesara, Bramhi, Henna, Neem, Haritaki, Manjistha, Bingharaja, Bibhitaka, Amalaki cooked in sesame oil.
We all probably know how nourishing these ingredients are. Sesame oil is enriched with Vitamin E and B complex and use widely for hair growth and maintain scalp health. Sesame oil also works best in premature hair greying. Kesh king hair oil has only natural ingredients with zero chemicals, hence, have no side effect. Its unique formulation with 21 ayurvedic ingredients is clinically proven to be 2 times more effective than other ayurvedic oils which contain only around 1 or 2 active ingredients.
Now coming down its fragrance and texture, as it has 21 natural herbs, the smell is quite strong but pleasant to the nose. The consistency is just like any other hair oil, clear and light. The texture feels light and non-sticky. The best part, this oil is not heavy like other herbal or Ayurvedic hair oils and it does not stain the pillow either.
You know, I’m not an oil person. But I have been using this oil thrice a week before going to bed. I have been using the oil only on the scalp by applying the deep root comb first then massaging with the help of my fingertips. I massage it all over the scalp using three fingertips till the oil fully penetrates my hair follicles, leaving rest of the hair. I rub down nicely on the tip of the hair with what is remaining on my palm. Application with deep root comb enhances microcirculation by targeting roots, helps stimulating roots for deeper oil penetration.
Next day, I wash my hair with kesh king shampoo. As the formula is non-greasy and light, it doesn’t take that much shampoo to wash away completely.
Now, talking about the kesh king anti-hair fall shampoo, it is also formulated with Aloe Vera and 21 precious herbs and has zero chemicals in it. The smell is nice and herbal that doesn’t bother your nose. The shampoo has moderate texture and consistency. It washes off the oil, dirt and pollution nicely. It makes my hair silky smooth post use and combats hair fall as well.
Now coming down to efficiency of both the products. Kesh king oil claims to reduce stress, headache and sleeplessness. Yes, the massage with this oil does uplift your mood, relax down nerves and makes you feel good which leads to a sound sleep. A massage of this oil always relieves headache causing due to tension and stress. The brand also claims that this oil reduces hair fall and dryness. For these claims, I can say this oil does reduces my hair fall to a great extent. I was amazed to see new baby hair grow. This oil not only helps in lower the hair falls but it supports new hair growth.
The shampoo works on my hair pretty well. It gives volume to my hair making it silky soft and supports kesh king oil to do its magic.
My mom has been this using Kesh King oil for years and I was recommended first by her. Before, she used Indulekha Hair Oil and switched to Kesh King hair oil for certain reasons. Here is a comparison between the two-
Kesh King Ayurvedic Oil | Indulekha Ayurvedic Oil |
Texture is light | Texture is heavier than Kesh King |
Kesh king oil is based on sesame oil | Indulekha oil is based on coconut oil |
Can use during the winter | Cannot use during the winter as the product freezes |
Contains 21 precious Herbs | Contains 2-3 active ingredients |
Effective on Severe hair fall from first week | Effective on only mild hair fall |
Affordable | Expensive – 3 times the price of Kesh King |
My Rating- 4/5
Final verdict-
I am not telling you that you will get the result overnight. It has all-natural ingredients which may require some time to show the results. Both the products work on my hair fall good. Though I haven’t seen any results on my dandruff and hair greying, I somewhere believe that with a consistent use, it will definitely show results and help with my hair growth.

Heard a lot about kesh king hair oils. This Sounds Effective for hair care regime from your experience.
When I was in 20’s, I had heard a lot about this product and its benefits. Though I never used it, having all natural hair oil and shampoo is always good for hair

The table given below of the distinction between two hair oils is quite helpful. I think I am switching.
I have heard so many good reviews of the product however never tried them. Looks like must try them asap.
This look great and I must say with the comb the application would be so easy. I at times avoid oiling my hair coz of all the hassles. this would make it easy for me.
This hair oil sounds definitely better than other options. If it checks hairfall it is worth the try.
Have heard rave reviews about Kesh king. I have too colored hair and so dryness and hairfall esp in winter more. Will try out this oil.
It is very important to choose right shampoo and hair oil because the health of your hair depends on that. And these look perfect for the hair.

I loved reading the detailed review. I have seen its ad so many times wondering if all these products even work. But the comparison between two products just made my day!!
I have personally used the hair oil and I must say this oil really works. But it takes time to show change on your hair.
For me, it took four months to see the change in hair length and hair growth.
Agree. Even it works for me, but it takes time to show the desired result as natural ingredients take time to show up the effectiveness.
I have used the oil and it did work on my hair too for reducing hairfall..have not used the shampoo yet, will try it out for sure 🙂
Your pics are awesome 🙂
