I Know, I have been MIA (missing in action) for long on my blog. The truth is, I was focusing more on my Instagram than my blog. But from last one month I have been missing my second baby, my blog so much. Hence I took the new year resolution to be more active on the blog as well as on other social media.
I am going to kick start this with a review of some of my most favorite products of 2018. The list has started with my one of my Holy Grail foundation – Wet n Wild Mega Cushion foundation in shade 120A Natural Beige.
It is my first cushion foundation and probably the last one because I don’t think I could ever like any other cushion foundations after using this one. Thanks to God that I have come across such an amazing product.
So, if you want to know what I love about Wet n Wild mega cushion foundation, then read on!

It comes in a typical cushion case which has a cute girly graphic at the top. It is housed inside a cardboard box which has the same design and information related to the product. The case has transparent back where you can see the foundation shade. It comes with an inbuilt full-size mirror and an applicator puff. The puff is nice, dense and smooth. It doesn’t soak up too much of the foundation and also gives a smooth and even finish. The cushion is sealed with a plastic wrap. You have to pull it out in order to use the product. There is sponge or cushion inside the case which holds the foundation. You need to press the cushion with that puff to get the foundation. That’s why it is named cushion foundation. Overall the packing is cute, handy and compact. Hence it is easy to travel with.
This foundation comes in 8 shades. I picked up the shade 120A Natural Beige which suits my light-medium complexion perfectly.
This range also has 2-3 shades apt for dark skin beauties.
Now coming down to the texture and consistency of this cushion foundation, it has a creamy liquidy consistency which can be easily taken out by the puff. The puff has a dense smooth surface which picks up the right amount of the product. You just need to dab the foundation all over your face to get a flawless even finish. The foundation has a really smooth texture which is applied evenly on the skin, it doesn’t get patchy anywhere. It feels light and comfortable on the skin and doesn’t look cakey at all.
Initially, the foundation gives a dewy finish, but after some time it settles down to a comfortable matte finish on my combination skin. The formula contains coconut derivatives, so this foundation suits dry skin pretty well. But it needs to be set nicely with a good compact, otherwise, it creases or moves into lines.
Now, talking about the coverage, I found this has medium coverage. But you can layer the product up to get a pretty much full coverage look. This foundation is able to hide my dark spots, pigmentation, and redness. It also covers my light under eye dark circle pretty nicely.
This foundation stays on me around 6-7 hours without fading and looks fresh without touch up. After that, it breaks or creases a bit around the mouth and nose area. I felt the foundation does transfer a tad bit on my cell phone and tissues, but the amount is ignorable.
My Rating: 4.7/5
Where to buy: You can buy it from Nykaa and Myntra.
Final Verdict- Overall, I love how this foundation feels on my face, so light and comfortable. The formula is really moisturizing. It doesn’t feel heavy or looks patchy over time. For me, it is a good everyday foundation and I’m very much happy with its performance. Highly recommend.
