Rangbaaz Phirse is based on a true story of the gangster Anandpal Singh from Rajasthan. The show telecasted from 20 December 2019, which contains total episodes of 9, spanning 40 minutes each approximately. The series is an Action Crime Drama which narrates the life of 25 years old Gangster Amarpal Singh (Name changed from real life gangster). The story is bit imaginary and bit life history of the gangster.

The drama sets in the backdrop of the Northern Indian belt, in a casteist conflict. The story narrates about a young man who has a very big dream of his life. But he had been deceived into the crime world and politics that lead his life into a different path. Everyone in the state was scared of him due to his characteristics. His dream of setting an example in the society by excelling in every field was gone wrong. He has been gone so wrong before he could rectify his point of mistake.

The dramatic tale contains all the emotions of Revenge, Passion, Blood, Gore, Friendship and Betrayal. The story has made us travel along with them. Jimmy Shergill has given his maximum energy which the role needs. His body language as a Gangster has been delivered perfectly which is quite impressive. Spruha Joshi has done her part well, though her character needs lots of terms and conditions, she took it in the right way. Also, the cop role worked by Zeeshan Ayyub was one admirable character. The entire crew has done their job perfectly without any lack.

The series shows the dirty side of the politics and the politicians. It also shows how the cops and gangster been manipulated and used by them. The series contains complete twist and turns which robs the show nostalgic connection. The dialogues on the series are quite powerful.
