We all probably know how important to exfoliate our skin. It not only removes dead cells but also opens clog pores and takes out all gunk and also improves skin texture. This is why I love to scrub my face
after coming back home from the office.
As I said it is very important to scrub our skin thrice a week to make it breathe. Guys, you know me. I only use organic and natural products. Recently I stumbled upon a skincare brand name Vasu. I was impressed by the ranges of products, mainly by the ingredients they are using in every product.
So, thought of why not to give it a try. So, I ordered Vasu Sugar Scrub from their website. I have been using it for 10 days now and would love to share my experience in this post.

Packaging:
Vasu sugar scrub comes in a transparent plastic jar with a screw open cap. The jar further comes housed inside a thin cardboard box which carries all the important details like the ingredient list, expiry date, usage direction, etc. There is a plastic plate-like separator under the cap which ensures no spillage. You need to remove the separator plate to take the scrub out. Overall, the packaging is sturdy and travel-friendly.
Key Ingredients:
Sucrose, Propyle Glycol, Kumkumadi Oil, Glycerin, Capric and black sand.
How to use:
You need to gently massage a sufficient amount on the wet face about 1–2 mins, avoiding eyes and then rinse off. Use once or twice a week.

My Experience
Sand yellow colored scrub has a very mild Ayurvedic smell that won’t irritate your nose. The scrub has a thick sticky consistency. You can feel the sugar particles in it. The exfoliating particles are not finely milled, though they are not coarse as well.
The scrub is enriched with the goodness of Kumkumadi Oil which is a magical ingredient itself and vitamin E. Kumkumadi oil is an exquisite Ayurvedic blend of herbs that work amazingly on different skin issues like aging, dry skin, itchy skin and many other. It works best to uplift skin and treats the skin’s sensitivity.
It contains sugar as a natural and gentle exfoliant that suits most sensitive skin, hence it does no irritation.
Vitamin E acts as an antioxidant by neutralizing free radicals and hence prevents signs of aging, while keeping skin hydrated, moisturized and healthy. This scrub is an Ayurvedic product and completely free from parabens, mineral oil, formaldehyde and dyes.
As I mentioned, I used this scrub thrice a week. I scooped out a sufficient amount of the scrub with a clean spatula and apply on my wet face and neck. Then simply massaged all over the face and neck with light hand. It doesn’t create a foamy lather.
At this point, sugar particles started melting as it dissolved in water and became thin and runny. This scrub also contains natural black sand particles that are finer than the sugar particles. This exfoliates my skin nicely and evenly. It helps unclog pores and clean out the gunk and impurities which accumulate on the skin throughout the day. It washes off nicely with normal water without leaving any residue behind.
Trust me, this scrub tastes sweet, which means it actually contains sugar, nothing else.

Final Verdict: To be honest, I simply fall in love with this scrub from the first use. I have super sensitive skin and it never makes my skin irritated or allergic. After every usage, my skin becomes softer, suppler and more glowing. It also improves my complexion and smoothens out some fine lines around the eyes and mouth area. Some days I felt very skeptical of using a scrub on my super sensitive skin, but no more worries! Because now I have Vasu sugar scrub.
