Maybelline Lip gradation by Colorsensational, Pink1 and Mauve1: Review

Here I come with another amazing yet affordable lippies.
These lippies are quite famous these days. 
These are the Maybelline lip gradation by colorsensational. Maybelline have
launched 8 shades in this range. At First I have bought one shade from this
range, but as soon as I feel the quality and opacity of the product, I could
not resist myself to hands on another one. So I bought myself two shades from
this range: Pink 1, and Mauve 1.

My Review on Maybelline Lip Gradation, Pink 1 and Mauve 1:

Packaging: It
comes in a slim dual ended twisted up crayon form.  At one end the lip product comes in
retractable format, no need to sharpen up. The most interesting part of this is
that the bottom end has a sponge tip smugger, which can be used to blur or
blend the colour to make gradient or ombre effect.

Pigmentation:
Superbly pigmented, one swipe is enough for full coverage. It covers my
pigmented lips beautifully.

Shades:

Mauve 1 is an earthy brown shade. It’s my go to everyday
nude kind of shade.

Pink 1 is a vivid cool toned pink color which instantly
brightens my complexion up. This shade is completely a party wear.

Texture: The
texture is so nice and creamy. It glides so smoothly, does not need any tugging
and pulling. It gives a very powdery matte finish despite of that, the formula
is very comfortable and non-drying. The crayon is so soft that the application
must be done with light handed. It does not settle down to lips lines and
accentuate the dry patches.

Staying powder: It
is a long drawn out lipstick that stays on my lips for good 7-8 hrs with snakes
and drinks in between. It barely fades away, leaves a very strong stain behind
which can be removed only by makeup remover.

Now talk about the most interesting part which is making the
gradient or ombre lips. I have a much pigmented lips so gradient effect does
not suit me at all. I ended up with applying the products as a normal lipstick.

Pros:

• Affordable.
• Flat Matte finish.
• Soft and creamy texture.
• Non-drying formula.
• Very comfortable to wear.
• Comes in a good variety of shades.
• Non sticky and light weight .
• Long stay.
• Sleek and travel friendly packaging.
• Comes with a separate sponge smugger which can be used to do
  ombre lips.

Cons:

• I think the products have very boring name format, it could
  have been more interesting like the other lip ranges.

Rating: 5/5.

Final verdict: Oh, I just love this lippies. I think this is
the most comfortable matte lipstick in this price range. It’s long wear, high
pigmentation and vibrant colour makes it completely worth the money.
