Sugar Plush Hour Matte Lipstick In 06 Little Bo Peach : Review, Swatch and MOTD

Hello Ladies,
Oh God! I haven’t posted any review of lipstick since ages. How can I survive till now! I’m a big lipstick addict and I can’t rest myself until I get my hands on few of newly launched lipsticks of a brand. Since Sugar has been my favorite when it comes to “Lipstick”, I had to pick up few of their new launches. So today I bring to you one of their new babies which is Sugar Plush Hour matte lipstick in shade 06 “Little Bo Peach”. I have been searching a warm peach shade that perfectly suits my wheatish skin tone for long. Peaches are tricky shades I think, some of the peach shades are washing me out and emphasizing darkness around the mouth area, on the other hand, some peach shades appear exactly like an orange shade. As soon as I heard the name, it sounded like my little one singing her favorite song “Little Bo Beep” and I found a reason to splurge. So let’s scroll down to find the nitty gritty details of Sugar “Little Bo Peach”.

INR: 499/- for 3.9gm.

Packaging: The lipstick comes in a classy matte black bullet packaging which comes inside in an outer carton. The carton has black and blue graphic print of a lady along with the other necessary information.  It has the similar kind of packaging of a rectangular tube, like their it’s a pout time vivid lipsticks but it is shorter and cuter. The cap shuts on tightly with a click. Overall I found the packaging sturdy and travel-friendly.

Shade: The shade Little Bo Peach is a striking warm tone soft peach which is the most flattering shade from this range. This peach would suit every single skin tone, yes! whether you are fair, wheatish, medium or dusky, this shade looks outstanding on you.

My view

Now coming to its texture and formula, it is a bit drying in formula wise, but the texture feels soft and smooth to glide. It is incredibly pigmented; you just need one to two swipes for a fully opaque finish. It gives a striking matte finish which can cover my pigmented lips in a jiffy. WOW! But the formula is a bit drying and feels stretchy over time as compared to their other range. If you layer the product, it will appear patchy on the lips and sits on the lip lines after few hours. Since the formula is not that hydrating, prep your lips before is a must.
It has an excellent color payoff which is why it stays on my lips for more than 7 hours with snacking and drinking in between, though it can’t survive full meal or anything oily.  Yes, it comes off the center a little, but the overall lipstick is intact and stays comfortable throughout the day. It doesn’t smudge or bleed over time.
My Rating: 4.5/5.
Where to buy: You can buy from here.
Final Verdict: I’m very much impressed with the shade, texture and remarkable staying power. Though the formula feels a little drying on lips, I do not mind wearing such stunning shade on regular basis. I would strongly recommend this super pretty shade to all the ladies out there.
